athenaMed is the new eLearning portal of the medical faculty at the University of Heidelberg. athenaMed replaced its successor athena in early 2006 not changing the system .LRN. It is the so called “black board” for collaborating and communicating between students and lecturers and to present all the necessary information for the students concerning their stage of learning.
